A Club Pogo Members Only Game!
The goal of Perfect Pair
Solitaire is to remove all the cards from the table by matching pairs of
cards with a combined face value of 13. We've added color coding and
some crazy characters to make things more interesting. You can match the
pairs by using the numbers or the images.
You earn "Hearts" on the
Love Meter by matching four pairs of cards in a row or by making a
"Perfect Pair" match. Each time you make a match, the lights below the
scoring area will light up. When all four are lit, a heart will appear
on the Love Meter.
As you travel the game
board, you will visit exotic ports of call and discover "Event Cards"
that will change the rules of the game. The more hearts you can earn in
the game, the farther your ship will move around the game board. If you
can make it all the way around the board and back to the "Home" space,
you will advance your rank progress and may earn a new rank.

Tips and Tricks:
-
Use the numbers on
the edges of the cards to help plan ahead a few moves.
-
Avoid putting a card
in the free cell until you have a plan to get it out again.
-
If you are blocked by
a specific card, undo until you find the last match of the same
card. Attempt to continue without making the same match again.
-
If you continue to
run out of moves it's generally faster to start a new game than try
to figure out a different path.
-
Don't forget about
the cards on the shore or floating in the water. It's best to
distribute the removals among every row equally.
-
"Perfect Pair"
matches are tempting, but aren't always the best move.
-
If you get the
Stowaway card, try to find and remove the stowaways as soon as
possible.
-
The best time to
remove a "Broken Heart" card is immediately after scoring a heart on
the Love Meter.
