The object of Word Whomp™
is to make as many words as you can from the six letters in the middle
of the screen. Words must have at least 3 letters, and they can't be
proper names, abbreviations, or contractions.
Make words by clicking
the letters in order. For example, if you wish to spell "CAT," click (or
type) the letter "C" first; then "A"; and then "T."
When you finish making a
word, click the on screen ENTER button or press the "Enter" key. If the
word is in the puzzle, the word will appear on the signs at the bottom
of the screen. Spelling words will advance the digging gopher towards
the veggies and token bonuses.
As soon as you reach the
"Spin" carrot, you'll receive 10, 50, or 100 tokens (depending on the
difficulty level), a jackpot spin, and tokens for each additional word
you find! Reach the "Last Word" and you will be rewarded with 200 more
tokens!
Tips & Tricks:
-
All words in the
puzzle contain 3 - 6 letters. Proper names and abbreviations don't
count.

Skill Level 1 is
easiest, so try this level first. When you've mastered the basics,
move on to a higher skill level. At the higher skill levels, your
potential token bonus is greater.

If you're stumped,
click the MIX UP button. When your letters switch places, you can
often find words that you may have overlooked. You can click the MIX
UP button as often as you wish.

After you reach the
"Spin" carrot, longer words will earn you more tokens than shorter
words. So always look for 5- and 6-letter words while entering
shorter words.

Words are listed
alphabetically within each bracket of 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words.
Use this to your advantage as you try to spell the last few words in
the game.

At the end of each
game, look closely at the words you didn't find. These words will
probably show up in future puzzles.

The Word Whomp
dictionary does not include every word in the English language —
instead, only those words that are in relatively common usage are
included.

If there's a "s" in
the puzzle, don't forget to add it to as many words as you can to
make plurals!
